Becoming a Teen

Being a Teen

Isn't as life-changing as it seems.

It feels the same

Except getting good grades has been harder an aim

But as times progress

I can feel the ache of pressure and stress

As I’m only human after all

The point is to pick ourselves up after we fall

It is fun and cool to say 

And it definitely has its perks, come what may

But growing up at times can get scary

Lots of duties on your shoulders to carry

Being a Teen

has its lows and highs, but let me come clean

At the end, oh my am I glad

To be a teen.
