War.
Piles and piles of bodies dropped on the floor
At some point we wonder, how many more?
Families with heavy hearts and eyes of sorrow
Never certain whether or not there will be a tomorrow.
War surrounds us, engulfs us and will always be a part of us.
It starts off with envy, strong hatred and greed plus
Humans will never be happy, unless we have it all
Pervasive in our society, our pride is a pillar too tall
War is never the goal, but it is the outcome that we all desire
However dire the process may be, shooters and spies we must hire.
For, they do not abide by our convention. Who do they think they are?
This judgmental world has never heard anything so bizarre.
So off their heads with it.
At the end, it’s every man for themselves.
But on introspection, is it worth the countless lives?
Is this the result we would sacrifice our own kind to strive?
Let us remember in the midst of despair
The longing for peace and unity we all share
Let us build a world where arguments can be resolved with peace.
A world where commotion and provocation can be put to ease.
