Coronavirus

Coronavirus is one of the biggest global pandemics. Coronavirus is a family of viruses causing many fatal diseases along with some not so deadly. The present outbreak of coronavirus was reported from China on the 31st December 2019. ‘Covid-19’ comes from ‘CO’ which stands for corona, ‘VI’ is short for virus and ‘D’ is disease. The common symptoms of the virus is:

    - Fever
    - Cough
    - Shortness of breath


The cure is still yet to be found but there’s always opportunities for progress. Scientists have made vaccines which could primarily help prevent it, such as Pfizer and Moderna, both produced in U.S, AstroZeneca, created in Oxford England and so on...

New waves have impacted countries since the pandemic initially hit. Many countries haven't been taking this too well such as Italy, the United States, India and Brazil. However, many countries have just managed to steer out of the virus’s grasp such as China and North Korea, which shockingly has found to have zero cases and has left scientists quite skeptical.

But we, as humans, can always try to remain vigilant by following certain precautions. Ensuring you wear masks consistently, washing your hands with soap and water thoroughly whenever you are leaving or entering an area, when you begin eating or when you touch your face, can significantly decrease your chance of turning positive.
